Feel Good Friday
We are sorry that we had to postpone our Mini Marathon (running around the roads surrounding our school), but we can confirm that we will be running it on Friday 27th June at 2pm. We would love parents to join us to cheer the children on. Meet us at school at 2pm outside the school gates. This week, instead of the marathon, we worked on “All About Me” transition passports which children completed with information for their new schools. These will be sent home so the children can take them to their new schools whenever they visit. This is just one way in which we are supporting the children with their transition to their new school.
End of Year Celebration
Our carnival and end of year celebration will take place on Wed 2nd July see page 2 for more information. We hope everyone will be there. All children and families who left our school this year will also be invited.
Core Value for this term
This term we will be exploring Uniqueness—celebrating our differences and knowing what makes each of us special.
Next Week
Year 1 children will be taking their Phonics Check. This is a national test which assesses children’s knowledge of phonics. A letter has been emailed with further information. If you have any questions, please ask Mrs Saleem. Year 4 children will be taking their multiplication check next week too. Years 1,2,3,4 are going to St Paul’s Cathedral next Friday.
