We have had some brilliant trips this half term across the school. Year 1 and Year 2 visited the South London Gallery to learn about abstract art, Year 5 and Year 6 visited the British Museum to look at Anglo Saxon artefacts and saw a black and white film at the London Breeze film festival at Battersea Power Station.
Year 6 attended the Southwark Junior Citizenship scheme to learn life skills and Year 3 and Year 4 have been to the Southbank Centre to view the exhibition “Leap Year”, by the internationally renowned Korean artist Haegue Yang as part of their learning on textiles and collage in art. What a busy half term!
