SMMS Sports Day 2022 was held at Peckham Rye Park. It was a glorious day. The children, in mixed age groups, worked their way round a circuit of activities from hockey dribbling to javelin throwing to balancing a bean bag on their head.  After that, the children took part in novelty races – egg and spoon race for Years R,1,2,3 and the sack race for Years 4,5,6. Then came the spring races for all year groups followed by the very competitive parent and staff race.

The children and parents all reported having lots of fun and we hope to make Sports Day on Peckham Rye an annual event.
