This week, we send our huge thanks to PC Arthur Hazel and PC Trevor Fox (police school liaison officers) who came into school to lead a workshop for families about online safety for children.
His main message was that parents/carers need to know what their child is accessing online, take an interest in their online life and educate them on how to stay safe.
He recommended that all parent’s make use of parental controls and he has sent the attached list of recommended sites for you to try. The PCs also led a workshop for Years 5 and 6 to ensure they have strategies to protect themselves online and keep themselves safe.
