This week is Deaf Awareness Week. We learned how the ear works and how we can help people who are deaf. Deaf awareness week celebrates deafness and the deaf community.
Sensei Steve (our Judo teacher) came in to speak to the children about growing up with a hearing and visual impairment and how he overcame barriers to go on to become a black belt in Judo who represented Team GB.
