What a joy it was today to be a part of this community that came together for one of the most exciting days in St Mary Magdalene Primary Schools history as the whole school, parents and staff set off for the Carnival walk around |Peckham and Nunhead.
Graciously joined by Margaret, Lily and the DKH Primary School Samba Band, we marched to the sound of samba drum in exotic dress and a colour display to match the very best of carnivals across the country. It was amazing to see the support in cheers and dancing by the residents of our community as the procession passed them by.

After the Carnival walk, it was back to St Mary Magdalene Primary school for International Evening where we enjoyed performances from the children and a special performance from Kemi of Just Kemi Music.
