It’s our Carnival and International evening next Wednesday.
Date: Wed 12th June
Timings:
2pm – 2:45pm Parade from the playground.
3:10/3:15pm Collect your children as usual form the classrooms
3:30pm – 5:30pm International evening in the playground.
Dress code:
Children wear class colours. If you would like to make them a costume you can – choose from bird, fish, animal, flower, tree.
How can you help:
- Make a homemade musical instrument for your child to use in the parade eg. a shaker or a drum. https://www.thecrafttrain.com/10-
minute-toilet-roll-shakers/ - Bring food to share for our International Evening feast. Please can everyone bring something so we have enough to eat.
- Join us on the parade and/or the International Evening.
- Make a costume in the class colour for your child (optional).
We are looking forward to a fun event, which brings our whole school community together.
Carnival:
Please make sure that children come into school dressed in their class colour (predominantly).
- YN/R—Green
- Y1/2—Peach (or orange or yellow)
- Y3/4—Purple (or red or dark blue)
- Y5/6—Turquoise (or light blue)
Our carnival will process out of the school playground at 2pm. Parents are welcome t o line the streets (see map below), or to walk alongside their child (please walk on the outside of the pavement to keep children safe at all times).
