Vision/Mission
St Mary Magdalene Primary School values the individuality of all children. We are committed to giving all our children every opportunity to achieve the highest of standards. We do this by taking account of pupils’ varied life experiences and needs. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum and have high expectations of
all our children. The achievements, attitudes and well-being of all our children matter. The school promotes the individuality of all our children, irrespective of ethnicity, attainment, age, disability, gender or background.
The distinctive nature of our church school underpins the whole of our teaching and learning and includes the following points:
- Education is concerned with the whole child.
- We promote the following core values; – thankfulness, hope, trust, wonder, honesty, forgiveness, peace, love and compassion and uniqueness. As well as initiative, perseverance, resourcefulness, self-responsibility, self-discipline, a sense of humour and confidence.
- We encourage children to value each other for who they are as well as what they achieve to be ‘The Best That They Can Be’.
