Admissions Information
Admissions to Reception are handled by Southwark through the Common Application Form, which is available online at www.southwark.gov.uk. If you attend any Anglican Church or other Christian denomination, please refer to our Foundation place criteria below. An additional supplementary form will be required.
Foundation places
20 places will be offered to pupils whose families are faithful and regular worshippers at any Anglican church or other Christian Denomination, as recognised by Churches Together in England or Evangelical Alliance or Affinity. Written evidence of parent/carer commitment to their place of worship will be required. Please complete a supplementary form, available here or from the school office, and return to the school office, in addition to applying through Southwark.
If there are more than 20 applicants, places will be allocated in the following priority order:
- Looked after or adopted children,
- Children whose parents are faithful and regular worshippers at St Mary Magdalene Church, Peckham,
- Children who have siblings at the school at the time of admission,
- Children with known special medical or social needs (written supporting evidence should be supplied at the time of application),
- Children living nearest to the school measured by a straight line route from home to the main school gate in Brayard’s Road.

Open Places
10 places will be offered to pupils who do not qualify for a foundation place. Places will be allocated in the following priority order: 1) Looked after or adopted children, (2 Children who have siblings at the school at the time of admission, 3) Children with known special medical or social needs (written supporting evidence should be supplied at the time of application), 4) Children living nearest to the school measured by a straight line route from home to the main school gate in Brayard’s Road.
Admissions at other times are handled through our school office, if you are moving from another Southwark school, or if you are moving from outside the borough.
