Children
It was an absolute pleasure working with your teachers and children. The extremely high levels of mutual respect between teachers and children was very evident in each of the classes I worked with. I was very impressed by the instinctive way children supported and encouraged eachother to do their best.
Andy Markwick, Science Consultant
I really enjoyed my visit to St Mary Magdalene Primary School. I liked the warm atmosphere and the beautiful displays. The children were very enthusiastic about writing their own stories.

As an artist educator I have been delighted to see that an appreciation of the importance of creating lies at the heart of this school. The projects I have taught the children enpower pupils through creative thinking skills such as problem solving, spatial awareness, motor skills, aesthetic appreciation and most importantly by inspiring their imaginative thinking. The pupils have responded impressively to complex ideas in 2D and 3D work with great interest and maturity. Project outcomes have revealed levels of skill that excel beyond those that would normally be expected.

Huge thanks to everyone at the wonderful St Mary Magdalene for making me feel so welcome today – and for being so very warmly responsive and creative in the workshops. Such great poems from Years 1-6 in the Finale at the end of the day too – congratulations!
